MarianBand Pier Antonio Costamagna start their business venture in their parents’ garage. One of their first projects is to support ARCOM SPA (now BIEMMEDUE SPA) in the development ofa new high-pressure cleaning machine: the pressure washer.
The pressure switch for controlling the high-pressure cleaner was developed, a product that is still on the market today.

The plastic float for water tanks dedicated to high-pressure cleaners was eveloped. Thanks to these products, MTM SNC (Meccanica Tecnica Moderna) began to specialise and continue to design products in the high-pressure washing sector.
MTM SNC also specialises in precision brass machiningyenabling the design and launch of products such as high-pressure controlvalves, safety valves, fittings, etc.

The first high-pressurewater spray gun, model ASTRA, is designed and manufactured. Thanks to its multiple applications, it allows the product catalogue to expand very quickly. This marks the birth of the division now called HIGH PRESSURE TECHNOLOGY (HPT).
Distribution on European markets begins thanks to the collaboration with our long-standing agent Poul Jorgensen.

Sales of products on the American market began through direct participation in trade fairs.
The branch of MTM SRL dedicated to accessories for high-pressure cleaners (now HPT) merged into a new independent company: MTM HYDRO SRL was founded, whose shareholders include the Costamagna family, collaborators Pier Luigi Gallo, Matteo Asteggiano, and Studio Tibaldi Giraudo.

Due to production requirements, the company moved to a 2,400 m? warehouse exclusively dedicated to its activities in Roreto di Cherasco (CN).
In collaboration with our long-standing French importer, MTM HYDRO car wash booms were introduced, marking an important milestone in the growth and development of the Car Wash division.

Thanks to our long-standing collaboration with Mr Scott Lindholm, MTM HYDRO INC. is founded in Minneapolis, MN; its shares are sold in 2017 to Mr Lindholm's sens Aaron.and Alex, now operating as VELOCI PERFORMANCE PRODUCT INC, the sole HPT importer for the US market,
The need for low-cost products to complement those of the Italian parent company led to the creation of the Chinese company TOPCLEAN MECHANICAL TECHNOLOCGOY., LTD., NINGBO, which was then sold to IDROBASE SRL in 2018 when the need to supply the American market directly ceased to exist.

Thanks to the growth in sales volumes and the consequent need for new production and logistics space, the company moved tq.its current headquarters in a new, modern and larger warehouse (6,000 m2) located in the industrial area of Cherasco.
As part of an external growth strategy, KASTER MACHINES SRL, a leading company in the field of vacuum cleaners and self-service/forecourt equipment for car washes and service, stations, was acquired. This led to the creation of the division now known as CAR WASH EQUIPMENT (CWE).

MTM HYDRO joins the BM2 group following the repurchase of 100% of the company's shares by the Costamagna family.
Acquisition of the equipment and know-how of MURGIA, a long and well-established artisan manufacturer of coils for pressure washers. A new dedicated production plant including warehouse facility are set up a few hundred metres from the MTM Hydro headquarters.

2022 - 2025
Acquisition of 100% of MORELITE SPA from the partners Mortolini, Bernardi and Chiaruzzi, a San Marino-based company, specialising in the production of brushes for car-, truck-, bus- and trainwashing, solar panels washing, etc., thus strengthening their presence in the car wash sector.
